Why rose is the most famous flower? Rose is indeed a beautiful flower and is presented to people on many occasions. It is also a symbol of love and care. Beautiful adorn themselves with roses.

Formal events are held in the rose garden in the White House and roses are presented on several occasions as it is considered to be the most beautiful flower in the world. Roses smell sweet and everybody dreams of sleeping on a bed of roses. Roses are very famous as compared to other flowers. Why so?

Rose flower, paper rose, the pink rose is well acclaimed by all and sundry. This is so on account of their symbolic versatility. Roses have been so celebrated for such a long time — the Minoans grew and painted roses in the Bronze Age. Roses represent all things to all people. They represent virginity, and particularly the Virgin Mary. Medieval brides and grooms rather wore crowns of roses to represent their purity. In England, roses were laid on the graves of virgins. But roses also represent passion as well as romance: Lovers exchange roses as a prelude to intimacy.

Roses symbolize suffering: Christian iconography does use the red rose as a symbol of Jesus Christ’s bodily suffering, as well as the blood of other saints such as Alban. Yet roses also tend to symbolize the peace that awaits people in the next world. Old Christian texts do describe paradise as strewn with roses.
